About Yuppie Dog
Pets have always been an important part of the Yuppie Dog family.
In 2007, while preparing for a trip, we faced the challenge of finding a pet care facility in the Houston area that could offer our beloved dogs a safe and enjoyable vacation experience without us feeling guilty. Our dogs are a part of our family and we wanted to ensure their safety and happiness while we were away. Realizing the need for a pet care facility that met our high standards, we decided to establish a business that provided everything we desired for our dogs, Shasta, Allie, and Chief.
Our passion project began as Woofalicious Pet Bakery an organic bakery for dogs, where we developed our own recipes of wholesome treats and met hundreds of local pet parents every week at different farmers market. Through our interactions with customers and our own experiences as pet parents, we realized that there was a need for a trustworthy and healthy home-away-from-home for pets in Houston. With extensive research from dog parents, veterinarians, and careful planning, we opened Yuppie Dog two years later, providing a high-quality pet care facility that met the needs of our community.
Today, Yuppie Dog is a beloved and trusted option for pet owners in Houston who want the best for their furry friends. Our facility offers a range of services, from dog daycare, overnight stays to grooming, and training, and is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for all pets. Our passion for pet care and dedication for continued excellence has created a thriving business that has made a difference in the lives of pets and their owners in the Heights, Downtown, Montrose and River Oaks area.
